Orientation Program for the 2025–2026 Academic Year

An orientation meeting was held on 24 September 2025 for first-year students who joined the Department of Environmental Engineering in the 2025–2026 academic year.

The program was organized by the Department's Orientation Committee, represented by Prof. Dr. Bilgehan İlker Harman and Asst. Prof. Dr. Necati Berk Bıtrak.

At the beginning of the meeting, Asst. Prof. Dr. Necati Berk Bıtrak introduced the university's social and physical facilities, sports activities, information technology infrastructure, Student Information System, and SDUNet platform. He also provided information about the department's academic facilities, mission, and vision.

Prof. Dr. Hasan Köseoğlu, Head of the Department, welcomed the students and answered their questions.

Prof. Dr. Bilgehan İlker Harman, Prof. Dr. Emine Sayılgan, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Meltem Kaçıkoç shared information about career opportunities and professional development in environmental engineering.

Research Assistants Umut Bekçi and Betül Aykut Şenel provided guidance on coursework and internship procedures.

The orientation program concluded with group photographs. We warmly welcome our new students and wish them success throughout their undergraduate studies.
