Workshop on the Preparation of River Basin Management Plans for Six Basins

A modeling workshop was held in Ankara on 30–31 January 2025 as part of the Technical Assistance Project for the Preparation of River Basin Management Plans for Six Basins.

The project was co-financed by the European Union and Türkiye under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA II).

The workshop, organized as Activity 5.7 of the project, focused on hydrological modeling, water resources management, and water quality modeling.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Meltem Kaçıkoç, a faculty member of the Department of Environmental Engineering and a member of the project's modeling team, participated in the workshop.

During the event, she informed participants about the results of the modeling studies conducted in the river basins covered by the project.
