New Patent Registration in Search and Rescue Technologies

The invention titled “Göçüklerde ve Enkaz Altlarında Kullanılan Canlılık Tespit Cihazı” in which Dr. Mustafa GEÇİN, a faculty member of our department, is part of the project team, aims to accelerate post-disaster and accident response processes and has been patented under number 2023 016251.

This technology aims to play a critical role in search and rescue operations by enabling the rapid location of survivors trapped under debris, determining their vital status, and systematically establishing rescue priority based on the data obtained.
