COURSE EXEMPTION AND ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES
If you want to be exempted from the courses you have been successful in your previous university after your final registration, please contact the relevant department head for the necessary procedures.
As of September 23, 2024, attendance will be required for all courses for which you have not requested exemption. In addition, even if your course exemption application has not been finalized, attendance will be required for all courses that are likely to be taken as of Monday, September 23, 2024.
The courses you will be exempted from and the class to be adjusted depending on the courses you are exempted from will be determined by the authorized commissions in the departments according to the SDU Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations and the SDU Course Exemption and Adjustment Procedures Directive. In order not to fall into a situation that cannot be compensated in the future, it will be beneficial for you to know the above-mentioned legislation rules and to follow the announcements that will be published on the web pages of our faculty and your department.
AFTER THE EXEMPTION AND ADJUSTMENT RESULTS ARE ANNOUNCED
ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN
Exemption applications will be evaluated by the authorized commissions in the departments and the results of exemption and adjustment will be notified to the dean's office in writing. After the exemption and adjustment results are approved by the Faculty Administrative Board, they will be registered in the student information system.
In this way, students whose exemption results are finalized and whose exempted courses are registered in the student information system must go to the Faculty of Engineering Student Affairs Unit and complete their course registration. Each student can see the courses they need to take during their education period through their own SIS accounts. (Course Registration > Curriculum Status) Before going to the Faculty of Engineering Registrar's Office for course registration, you need to decide on the courses you want to take according to this course plan. In addition, if there are conflicting courses in the weekly schedule, you need to determine from which branch you will take the conflicting course (if there is an option).
