NASA Space Apps Challenge 2025 Kick-Off Held at Our Faculty
The world’s largest global hackathon event, NASA Space Apps Challenge Isparta 2025, was successfully held on October 4–5, 2025, hosted by our university with the support of Space Network and Future in Space.
This year’s event, organized for the first time at our university, began with an opening ceremony held at the Şehit Ekrem Çelik Conference Hall of our faculty.
Participants competed in teams of 2 to 6 people to develop solutions for real-world and space-related problems defined by NASA. Using open-source data shared on the Space Apps Challenge website, the teams created innovative and creative projects within a 48-hour period.
At the end of the event, selected local finalist teams earned the chance to participate in the global evaluation process conducted by NASA. Many talented participants stood out with their projects during this inaugural event hosted by our university and secured the opportunity to compete at the global finals.
NASA Space Apps Challenge Isparta 2025 marked a major success by strengthening the culture of innovation, science, and collaboration at our university while offering our students the opportunity to compete on an international level.
