Students Who Have Exceeded the Maximum Period of Study (Spring Semester of the 2024-2025 Academic Year)

At the end of the Spring Semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, the status of students who have exceeded the maximum period of study has been evaluated by the relevant departmental commissions in accordance with Article 44(c) of Law No. 2547 and the implementation principles announced by the Student Affairs Office.

Students with 5 or fewer failed courses have been granted an additional period of 3 or 4 semesters, depending on their use of the supplementary exam rights.
Students with only 1 failed course have been granted unlimited exam rights.
Students with more than 5 failed courses will be dismissed from the University.
Following the supplementary exams, the additional period will begin from the Fall Semester of the 2025-2026 academic year.

Students who have been granted 3 or 4 additional semesters or unlimited exam rights and wish to take courses in the Fall Semester of the 2025-2026 academic year must pay the semester tuition fee defined in the student information system by the end of Sunday, October 19, 2025.

After paying the semester tuition fee, students must inform the Student Affairs Unit through the SDU Request Tracking and Support System (https://taleptakip.sdu.edu.tr) in order to complete their course registrations.
