Students Who Have Reached the Maximum Period of Study as of the End of the 2025-2026 Academic Year Spring Semester (Results of the evaluation made after the additional exams) (Updated on 02.10.2026)
The status of students who reached the maximum period of study at the end of the 2025-2026 academic year spring semester was evaluated by the relevant commissions of the Department Chairs. The evaluation followed the provisions of paragraph (c) of Article 44 of Law No. 2547 and the implementation principles announced by the Department of Student Affairs:
- Students with 5 or fewer failed courses have been granted an additional period of 3 or 4 semesters, depending on whether they used their right to take the additional exams.
- Students with 1 failed course have been granted unlimited exam rights.
- Students with more than 5 failed courses will be dismissed from our University.
Following the additional exams, the additional period will start from the fall semester of the 2026-2027 academic year.
Students granted an additional period of 3 or 4 semesters, as well as students granted unlimited exam rights, who wish to take courses in the 2026-2027 fall semester must pay the semester tuition fee defined in the student information system by the end of Friday, 02.10.2026.
Students who have paid the semester tuition fee must complete their course registration by notifying the student affairs unit through the SDU Request Tracking and Support System (https://taleptakip.sdu.edu.tr).
