TÜBİTAK BİGG SUCCESS FROM OUR FACULTY

The “Optimal-EM” project, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Ahmet ŞENEL from our Faculty’s Department of Computer Engineering, with Asst. Prof. Dr. Bilge ŞENEL from the Department of Electrical-Electronics Engineering as researcher, was awarded the Seal of Excellence and qualified for support in the 1st Call of the 2026 BİGG Investment Program, carried out under the TÜBİTAK 1812 – Investment-Based Entrepreneurship Support Program.

The Optimal-EM project aims to develop an innovative measurement system, supported by optimization algorithms, that determines the electromagnetic properties of various materials, such as solids, liquids, composites and textiles, in a contactless, fast and non-destructive way.

Carried out within the BİGGWIND Program, the project is significant for the development and commercialization of innovative measurement technologies.
