- How can I log in to the Student Information System?
- First, you will log in to SDUnet (http://sdunet.sdu.edu.tr), you can use your student email account or e-government account to log in. Then you can continue by selecting the Student Information System.
- How can I activate my email account with the extension ogr.sdu.edu.tr?
- Your student email address will be in the format l(student number)@ogr.sdu.edu.tr (the "l" here is the first letter of the word "lisans" - undergraduate). Your password is the last eight (or first eight) digits of your national ID number. (example: l2411999999@ogr.sdu.edu.tr)
- What is the Learning Management System and how is it used?

- I have just registered at your faculty. Do I need to register for courses?
- Newly registered students' fall semester course registrations are done automatically. From the spring semester onwards, you will need to register for courses yourself. (course registration help presentation: https://oidb.sdu.edu.tr/assets/uploads/sites/73/files/kayit-yenileme.pdf)
- I have just registered at your faculty. Do I need to apply to get my student ID card?
- Our students' ID cards are automatically printed with the photos and information registered in the system. When the ID printing process is completed, you can collect it from the department secretariats.
- How can I get a new student ID card if I lose mine?
- After logging into SDUnet, you can complete the necessary procedures and request a new ID card. (SDUnet Personal > ID Card Application > New Card Request)
- When I try to register for courses, I see a debt, what should I do?
- To be able to register for courses, you must first pay your tuition debt. You can pay your contribution fee/tuition fees through Halk Bank branches, ATMs, internet banking and mobile banking application, or through Suleyman Demirel University Online Payment System.
- How do I register for courses?
- For each academic term, you need to log in to the Student Information System and register for courses between the dates specified in the academic calendar. - How can I access the academic calendar?

- I want to freeze my registration due to an excuse. What should I do?

Except for documentable extraordinary situations such as serious illness, accident, or natural disasters, leave applications must be made within the first two weeks of the semester/year.
Students may be granted leave for at least one and at most two semesters at a time for justified and valid reasons deemed appropriate by the relevant board of directors. The leave period does not count towards the education period. The total of leave periods granted to a student cannot exceed half of the normal education period.

- What do I need to do to get credit for courses I took from another program and to be exempted?
- Students placed through ÖSYM exams or through lateral transfer must apply with a petition to the relevant department head for exemption within the first two weeks of the semester in which they start their education. Exemption requests made by students in subsequent semesters/years will not be accepted. Students whose exemption request from any course is accepted can later register for this course to raise their grade. The student must attach the course contents approved by the higher education institution where they previously studied and their transcript to the petition stating which course(s) they wish to be exempted from in return for the course(s) they have previously taken and passed. When can I apply to the Double Major Program?

Students can apply to the announced double major diploma program at the earliest at the beginning of the 3rd semester, and at the latest at the beginning of the 5th semester for four-year programs, at the beginning of the 7th semester for five-year programs, and at the beginning of the 9th semester for six-year programs, and can make a maximum of 2 choices.

Students who have a grade point average of at least 2.70 out of 4.00 in their major diploma program at the time of application, who are in the top 20% of their class in their major diploma program in terms of academic ranking, and who have successfully completed all courses taken in their major diploma program until the semester they are applying for, can apply to the double major diploma program.

What is the graduation requirement from the Double Major Program?

Students who obtain the right to graduate from their major program with at least a 2.70 average and complete the double major program with at least a 2.70 average will be awarded a double major diploma.

Students can apply to the announced minor program at the earliest at the beginning of the 3rd semester and at the latest at the beginning of the 6th semester of their major undergraduate program, and can make a maximum of 2 choices.

What are the application requirements for the Minor Program?

Students applying to the minor program must have successfully completed all credit courses in their undergraduate program up to the semester they are applying for, and must have a minimum grade point average of 2.35 in their major program.

When can I graduate from the Minor Program?

Students who obtain the right to graduate from their major program and complete the minor program with at least a 2.00 average will only be issued a certificate of achievement (minor certificate). These certificates do not replace a diploma.

What are the conditions for taking courses as a special student?

Students who wish to take courses from another higher education institution as special students must apply to the department they are enrolled in at least ten (10) days before the course registration renewal period for the relevant semester by attaching the course contents of the courses they wish to take to their petition.
The conditions for students from another higher education institution to take courses from our University programs as special students are as follows:
Students from another higher education institution who wish to take courses from our University as special students must apply to the relevant unit of our University within the first week of the relevant academic semester by attaching the decision of the faculty/school/vocational school board of directors where they are enrolled to their petition.

What is a single course exam and how many times can I take it?
- It is an examination right held for students who have passed all their courses for graduation but failed in one course for which they met the attendance requirement. Students can benefit from the single course exam once.

What is the significance of being in the top 10% in the academic ranking in evening education programs?

If students studying in evening education departments/programs are in the top 10% of the academic ranking at the end of each semester, they will pay an amount equal to the student contribution fee that regular daytime education students would pay as tuition fee for that year in the upper class.

What are the graduation requirements?

For a student to graduate from their current program, they must complete the program they are attending with a minimum GPA of 2.00, provided that they take all courses required for graduation and pass these courses within the legal period specified in Article 27 of the Suleyman Demirel University Associate and Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations. GPA is also the graduation grade point average.

Can diplomas be collected by someone else?

Diplomas, diploma supplements, certificates of achievement, etc. are only delivered to the rightful owners themselves or to their representatives who present notarized power of attorney documents, or you can request that these documents be sent by cargo through the SDU Diploma Request Application System.

How can I access course contents?

You can access course contents by using the link https://sis.sdu.edu.tr/oibs/ogrsis/mufredat_dersleri.aspx. You can use the printouts you receive without needing to have them additionally verified.

How do I add University Common Elective courses when registering for courses?

You cannot take this course from your own department; you can take it from different departments of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (whether first or second education doesn't matter) or from different faculties. Before adding the course, you can check whether the course has sufficient quota.

When registering for courses, I cannot add an elective course because the quota is full, what should I do?

The quotas allocated to courses are determined by the relevant department head. In this case, you will choose another course that has sufficient quota or you will contact the department.

I took a course from a different university in summer school, when will my grades be transferred to my transcript?

After the transcript document for the courses you took from a different higher education institution reaches your department, grade conversion must be made in accordance with the SDU Course Exemption and Adaptation Procedures Directive, and the result must be reported to the Deanship in writing. After the approval of the Faculty Board of Directors, the relevant document will be sent to the Student Affairs Unit and recorded in the student information system.
