Mission and Vision

The Department of SDU Chemical Engineering was established in 2008. The undergraduate program was opened in the 2011-2012 academic year.

OUR VISION: To be a respected and continuously developing education and research institution at national and international levels.

OUR MISSION: Department of SDU Chemical Engineering aims "to train Chemical Engineers who have the ability to access information and to use the latest technology in order to meet demands of the industry and society in the present and future, and to carry out research studies on the problems of the industry by developing undergraduate and graduate programs in this direction, and transfer scientific data emerging as a result of these researches to the industry''.

Chemical Engineering Program Educational Objectives

After graduation,  The Graduates of Chemical Engineering Department;

1) Will be able to take part in regional, national and international projects carried out in the advanced technology fields of chemical engineering directed to research and development activities.

2) Will be able to work in disciplinary and interdisciplinary teams and take a leadership role.

3) Will be able to design by defining targets and constraints and to provide innovative solutions to engineering problems in cooperation with professional and non-governmental organizations and to contribute to the development of the industry in priority areas and to provide freelance engineering services.
